Dermatitis

Dermatitis is general word used to describe an inflammation of the skin. One common skin complaint is eczema. The causes of eczema are not specific they can be many and depend on what particular eczema type one has. It can be genetically linked (passed down through the family). If parents or grandparents of a child have eczema, there's an 80 percent chance that the child will develop eczema at some point in life. Different types of eczema can be caused by irritant chemicals and detergents, tobacco smoke, and yeast growths. Moreover eczema can also be caused by abnormal blood circulatory problems. The causes of some eczema types are unexplained, but environmental factors (cold, hot, humid conditions or dry ones) and stress are thought to be linked.
Outbreaks can be triggered by dust mites, moulds, plant pollens, pets and any number of pollutants. It is important to avoid things to which the body has any sort of allergies. Stress can also make eczema outbreaks worse. Some foods are also suspected to trigger eczema like dairy and wheat products, eggs, citrus fruits, nuts, preservatives, chemical food additives and colourings. It is advised not to wear synthetic fabrics or wool which irritate the skin and cause itching. Wear loose fitting cotton clothes.
Your diet is important in controlling this condition. Do not eat or drink anything processed, ever, including Diet Coke, crisps and snacks which are really a poison to your system. Try some teas instead of Coke, fresh fruit and some sort of light soup or pasta for lunch instead of crisps or other similar snacks. Make sure that you eat a balanced diet made from fresh ingredients. Packaged or processed foods contain chemicals that can potentially aggravate your condition. Spend time on your body, looking after what it needs and you will feel the difference.
Cut down on all dairy products, and if you can, red meat. Eat fresh vegetables with lots of garlic. You also need natural sugar either from fresh fruits or honey; never white sugar or chocolates. A poor diet can also lead to fatigue and obesity, which in turn will not help with eczema or other skin conditions as they can increase stress. To reduce the occurrence of eczema, you must address your whole dietary habit; as a rule of thumb, if you have to open a pack or a can to eat it don’t.
We highly recommend pure, organic Chinese teas which come from the fresh plants with all their natural elements. In traditional Chinese medicine, Chinese angelica root, white peony root, multi flower knotweed root, black sesame seed, ligusticum root, dried rehmannia root, moutan bark, schizonepeta, cicada slough, tribulus fruit, dittany bark and licorice root are efficient to combat eczema.
Also Chinese Teas are an excellent aid to help balance your over all health condition. They can improve the circulation and have many nutrients that can be of assistance to your body. For eczema, you should definitely try Oolong and Puerh teas.
Remember, the Natural way is not a short term cure but a long term solution. Take it one day at a time.
Best Wishes
