Making a Tea Cocktail for Sports Recovery
Are you an active person who enjoys several sports or physical activities? For instance, in one day, you might train for a marathon in the morning, play basketball with a couple of friends in the afternoon, then head out to the gym in the evening. At the end of the day, your muscles are going to be pretty sore.
Although this is very uncomfortable, soreness is actually a good sign because after the muscles heal, they become stronger. To reduce the discomfort, you can make yourself some refreshing tea that reduces inflammation and soreness. Here is a recipe that involves mixing several types of tea into one refreshing drink that provides great benefits for athletes.
First, gather high-quality ingredients. In Nature Teas have a great selection of high-grade green, jasmine, oolong, white, peurh, and black teas. Each kind of tea has a different taste, and mixing them creates a pleasant mishmash of flavours. In addition, each has its own unique set of health benefits, which makes the drink a truly healthy one. Choose around three to four kinds of teas.
Next, place the tea leaves in a bowl; half a teaspoon of each kind is adequate. Since they are already snipped into tiny pieces, mixing it is quite easy. Stir the leaves gently with a wooden spoon. Once the leaves are thoroughly mixed, place the mixture on a strainer that fits over a mug or glass. Finally, pour a cup of boiling water onto your blend. If you want the iced version, put ice cubes in the vessel before steeping. Do not forget to pack a small amount of your mixture before heading out to the sports stadium to train or play.
