Remember one of the joys of the loose pure teas is the preparation, the time one takes to see the natural transformation
beautiful leaves to gently unfold, like a tea garden growing in your Tea cup. We recommend the traditional way to experience and savour
pure teas. Give yourself the chance to have the whole experience and let the leaves settle in the bottom of the cup, to create your own tea garden - “The
Chinese way”. Too many leaves will make the tea taste bitter. Let the leaves flourish in your mind, body and spirit.
The quality of water plays an important role in making a nice cup of tea.
Tea master Lu Yu said “spring water was best, followed by river water, and then well water”. The mineral content in the water seems to have
been a consideration. The problem is that nowadays it’s practically impossible to find such “natural” water that is unpolluted, and tap water is
frequently highly chlorinated. Various types of bottled spring water, now available everywhere, can yield satisfactory results.
