The first step into this treatment is the use of pure teas, not the industrialized English tea, but the use of fresh plants with all its natural elements. We highly recommend the Chinese teas. You should start with Oolong tea to clean your system and Puerh tea as an anti toxins.

Exercise is definitely important but in your case, as well as meditation and focus on your breathing is paramount to control your panic attacks. You should start with five minutes a day and build up to half hour, if you can try two or three times. Isolate yourself in a space, focus on your breathing, and try to reduce the speed of your heart beat. You can do it standing up or in the lotus position. Yoga and Tai Chi are also excellent.

Also try to go for long walks and most importantly, try to get out of the city and get in touch with nature. It sounds as a cliché but its not. You must reconnect with nature and ultimately yourself. Every week make sure you go to the country side, sea shore, bicycle ride… this is in the heart to bring harmony to your condition.
Normally, the weight problem is due to long-term emotional disturbance and improper diet. At the early stage, it presents as Qi stagnation which is caused by spleen deficiency and liver Qi Stagnation. Qi stagnation may further turn into heat and cause retention of dampness and stagnation of blood. The treatment principle is to strengthen the spleen and stomach, regulate the flow of Qi and remove blood stasis.
Stress and in your case panic attacks are due to emotional upsets and stagnation of Qi, clinically manifested as mental depression mostly caused by issues that you must address in your personal life. As you mentioned the fact that you are married with no sex life is a sign if some emotional imbalance. This imbalance cause the liver fails to control the dispersion, the stagnant liver qi attacks the spleen, which impairs the spleen's function of transportation and transformation and the heart is deprived of nourishment.

Therapeutic Methods: Should take the Chinese herbal medicine: XIANG SHA YANG WEI WAN, LIANG FU WAN, QI ZHI WEI TONG CHONG JI. XIAO YAO WAN
The diet and nutrition is also very important . Cut down on any mucous forming foods such as dairy products, citrus fruits especially oranges; wheat, foods high in saturated fats, white flour products e.g. biscuits and cakes, and meats and pies. Reduce salt, artificial additives, caffeine and alcohol. Step up your consumption of garlic and onions, which contain the flavinoid Quercetin a natural anti-histamine which helps to reduce the severity of the allergy. Take a freshly squeezed vegetable juice in the morning (eg. beetroot and artichoke, with some ginger, garlic, apple and carrot) as this helps boost the immune system and helps to eliminate toxins. Eat plenty of bioflavinoids, which are in certain fruits, and help protect mucous membranes. Choose from: blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, and kiwi fruit. Also eat plenty of fresh vegetables, whole-grains and brown rice which all help to eliminate toxins, boost antioxidant levels and Vitamin B. Teas are also very important to assist in the eliminations of the toxins in your body.

Dietary advice for patients: Should eat more times but eat less at each time. Should not eat the sour and spicy food.
Cut down on all dairy products, and if you can red meat. Eat fresh vegetables with lots of garlic. You also need lots of natural sugar either from fresh fruits or honey; never white sugar or coffees.

Traditional Chinese treatments for back pain.

For breakfast please no longer have cereals and coffee, though a very popular mix in the West it is not a healthy start. Have some tea, some toast or fruits. Puerh teas should assist you lo lose weight.

As far as your comments on avoiding prescription drugs I could not agree more with you. Stay away from them. They are a short term fix with dire long term effects. In Western medicine, the medicines for depression are known to cause severe side effects. We highly recommend the Chinese tea and herbs which is the use of fresh plants with all its natural elements. In traditional Chinese medicine there also have Acupuncture, Herbs, Acupressure and Moxibustion which are very effective. Chinese herb medicine treats the whole person, mind and body as one rather than just the complaint - another words, it is a form of holistic medicine. The treatment of traditional Chinese medicine aims to prevent illness before it happens rather than cure it once it is present.

Again, try to look into all aspects of your life, the physical and emotional. You will only get better if you address them both. Depression is a very delicate state that one must address it with care and courage.

We deeply appreciate you giving us the opportunity to assist you and we hope we will be able to make a difference in your life. It make take a little time but we are certain that it can bring you good results.

If you need further inquiry, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Yours sincerely,

Doctor Wei
